I wish I understood human nature. There's something I've been seeing a lot lately, actually two things, but they more or less coincide within one another. So here we go:

Why does everyone settle for so much less than what they deserve?
AND
Why does everyone think too highly of what they have?

It's too easy to fall. To stumble along the path. Sometimes people just don't think the view is worth the path to the top. The vast majority of people settle for mediocrity (hence, the definition) because they don't have hope, or ability, or patience, or whatever the hell else, to go higher.
