And Bioware seems to be putting out just enough news everyday to keep us salivating, don't they? The anticipation is going to make me explode!

omg that's exactly what they're doing. I swear, Bioware has mastered the art of wooing. First, they pop up, waving the new shiny thing in front of us so we're interested. Then, they reveal enough that we've got a sliiiight idea of just what's at this New Shiny's core. Then, they reveal some more stuff that leaves us scratching our heads (or going nuts and claiming to cancel our preorders, like I've seen some people do O.o), and just when things get quiet and we've had enough time to wonder if this New Shiny can deliver, they hit us with EVEN NEWER AND SHINIER shinyness that turns everything back around so we're chasing after every little tidbit, enjoying more and more of what they reveal.

And their marketing for this game wasn't even anywhere near as in-your-face as DA:O's was, so bravo, Bioware.

I am actually kind of wishing DA2 would hold off a little longer is because I discovered Dragon Age late and I'm only about halfway through my first playthrough! I wanted to take my time with it, but now I feel like I've got to rush through and get DA2 as soon as possible :/

So I haven't really been paying much attention to the promo stuff and I have no idea who Fenris and Sebastian are. But oooh, voiced by Balthier? That does sound exciting. Ooooh.

Eek! Do you have Awakening yet? Or are you just playing through Origins? Because I'd really recommend playing through Awakening before DA2! I'll keep any and all DA2 comments under a very well labeled LJ cut while you're still playing through everything though, so don't worry about me being a spoily spoiler!

Fenris is a really arrogant, white haired elf with ties to Tevinter (I'm not sure what part you're at in the first game, so you may or may not be aware of what kind of place Tevinter is.)

Yeah, still playing Origins >.< I'm just doing the Dalish quest and then I'll be ready for the Landsmeet. I'm guessing that's halfway through...? I'm not sure. I've been really taking my time over it because I was enjoying it so much and never wanted it to end, but now I'm feeling rushed >.Oh well, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford DA3 right away anyway, so I guess that gives me some time ( ... )

I always consider the Landsmeet stuff closer to endgame, but then I remember all the crap you have to do around that time and realize that it really is halfway through. XD ( ... )
