Taiwan Trip: Day 3: Frustrating... (Part 2)

Nov 16, 2008 23:59

So after several months I finally got to finish this...

The night before, I discovered that the glowsticks I brought were too weak for the concert so I decided to get one of those big ones for TWD50. Da lan se guang bang(?)! XD

It took them a while before they opened the entrance. The lines were already long compared to the night before. I waited until the end of the line was near the door. I said good bye to Ate Chin and Ate Bing since they will be heading off for the night market.

I went in, passed by the restroom first then found the purple C1 section. It was farther than I expected. I was wishing I should have just taken the NT$5000 ticket for the 2nd day as well.

I got another photo of Bahamut on the stage as well as the rest of the arena.

This was how far away I was from the stage. Pretty far compared to my first day shot.

And this was how far away I was from the back. XD Not that many people yet. It was still pretty early.

And this was when the arena was almost full... XD

While waiting I took out my DS and decided to play for a bit. I forgot that I didn't turn it off the night before so the light was already red. In a few minutes, the battery died. I didn't have anything else to do. So I got my banner and flag ready. I also checked the setting for the camera in case I could take pictures during the concert. The arena started filling up with people. I was checking if the Indo fans were seated near me since they said they were on the left side of the stage. The seats beside me eventually filled up and I realized they were seated on the other side. *sigh* I thought I would be seating with people I know. And I would have a better chance of being noticed when Leehom calls out the fan clubs if I was seated near them.

The concert started later than the first day. The arena was fully packed (probably more people than the first day). As with the first day, the story was told, he came out. Same songs were sung. I'll just add in some point at the end of the set of photos.

This first set of photos were over exposed. I didn't have the chance to fix it until after the intermission since I wasn't really using the LCD to check what I have taken. All of these were taken manually without the aid of the LCD. This is one of the reasons I wanted my camera to have a viewfinder. Good thing I did. Although it would have been better if I had one of those S series cameras with the digital viewfinder. Anyway, please adjust your eyes to the over exposed photos...
Untagged photos were resized to 15% of the original. The rest have been cropped from around 50% of the original.

I did mention that there was the part that Leehom went off the stage a la Nestea plunge. This was the part he was going to his position before the plunge.

This was the blurry shot I got of his plunge.

Costume #2. Probably singing Zhu Lin Shen Chu at this time.

i love this pose.. if only it was more focused... >.<

only one of the best shots with this over exposed setting

The big screen shots...

hotbod! XD *drools*

one of the only shots I got of Bahamut with Leehom... (hahaha yeah not "Leehom with Bahamut" lol!)

(not in the right order)
Leehom high-five-ing the dancer (argh I forgot her name)

(not in the right order)
Fireworks!!! XD

Then it was time for another costume change. There was a bit like a news bulletin during this part. Blackie along with some other artists were there too. I decided to check out the photos I took earlier (since the lights were on, they wouldn't really notice my LCD light up) and discovered they were over exposed. So I tried out a new setting and it was perfect.

So the host was saying something about the Gai Bian Zi Ji band again and out came...

Xiao Li!!! He's so cute!!! *gigil mode*

See! I finally got the perfect setting! These were the best photos I got for the whole concert.

Xiao Li drumming away!

And after the switch, Wang Li Hong appeared from below the stage. Nice back XD

nice front as well XD

Time for another costume change and this time he came out with a violin.

I didn't realize I got so many violin shots... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I have to say the violin is my #1 favorite instrument for Leehom to play.

When you wish upon a star... ♥♥♥♥♥

This is near the end of Luo Ye Gui Gen....

And for one of my favorite songs... I guess he didn't use an instrument... But still well sung!

Yi shou jian dan de ge...

So near... yet so far...

I got a closer shot and I think he was looking at our direction but it was all blurry TT____TT

And it was finally time to play the piano for Ni Bu Zai and Wei Yi. He also removed his tux for a sort of costume change.

The Piano Man begins...

with a costume change!

See the intense emotion... ♥_♥

Leehom being impromptu with stuff... XD I forgot what he was doing with the water bottle...

I don't really remember the rest... here's the list of the next few songs I came up with:
Ai De Gu Li
Can You Feel My World
*new song*
Zai Mei Bian

Gai Shi Ying Xiong
Xin Zhong De Ri Yue

Fang Kai Ni De Xin
Ai Ni Jiu Deng Yu Ai Zi Ji
Da Cheng Xiao Ai
*new* Everything
Kiss Goodbye

Here's just some points I'd like to list:
1. For the trick after Zai Mei Bian, he came out on our side. I've been thinking about this for a few times now... Since I already knew he was going out from the back, I was already expecting him somehow come out from a different side from the first day. I was really thinking he'll go out from our side so while the double was getting in the box, I was already checking out the exit where he'll pass through. What kept spinning in my head was the fact that I could probably had a chance to see him up close on his way to the exit if I went up and went out for a bit during that time... Oh well... not that I can easily leave my seat.

2. I tried getting more photos but there was a lady on the floor keeping a look out for something... I even feel like she's watching me. Scary... And I so wanted to get a photo of him wearing that purple thing *sigh* :(

3. Leehom went up on the piano and posed there... XD There's photos of that around the internet.

4. He sang an extra new song which he didn't sing the first day. Good thing I got to record it on my phone. Actually, it was the clearest thing I recorded. He looked so cute when he made the mistake XD

5. As he was thanking people that helped in his concert, he commented about the huge LED screens. All I remembered was that he was saying something about his hair. That was probably the only time I laughed because I understood what he said. Tou fa XD

6. When the time Leehom was looking for the fanclubs, I got our tarp ready and stood up. I didn't care if the people there looked at me weirdly or what... Too bad he didn't see me :( We should definitely get a light panel soon...

7. At the end of the concert, Leehom jumped off the stage. He fell down and when he recovered, he ran up to our side and went past the barrier. Was too far away to reach him... and I reacted to slow >.<

Missed on another chance to get in contact with Leehom again... oh well... I should definitely get to touch him next time I see him in the flesh.

So after the concert I waited for Ate Chin and Ate Bing to pick me up and go back to the hotel. They got me the friend chicken Fong said that was good... It was good but just cold. At least I wasn't hungry anymore.

Got back to the hotel and we started packing our stuff for our trip back home the next day...

Last day post coming soon... definitely faster than this one.
