A couple of Mondegreens can really screw it up

So I used to have this crazy love-hate relationship with the song "Jump Around" by house of pain.

After looking up the lyrics on the inimitable RapGenius, I've ditched the "hate" part of that.

I'm not going to request footnotes, but I'm glad you're back on LJ, and I kind of dig this look into a corner of pop music that I rarely, if ever, venture into. Funny: it takes a lot less for you to lose patience with a song than it does for me. I've put up with mondegreens in certain songs for years just because I liek the rest of the song. Lookingup the lyrics definitely makes a difference.
