BTW, I'm loving the mental image of Kurt compiling a Broadway playlist. Between "Defying Gravity", "Rose's Turn", and "As If We Never Said Goodbye", that is something he would totally do, eh?

I see the "One (Reprise)" as a celebration of strength as a unit, overcoming obstacles, and success after hard work. In terms of ACL those are of course the strength of the ensemble and the challenges of the audition and rehearsal. As far as Klaine goes, it is the strength of the Kurt and Blaine together, overcoming the stares and taunts of bullies. Sort of the "They can't touch us or what we have" idea, which is really sweet.
I can't think of another song to represent Klaine at prom. Several pop up in my mind, but nothing actually seems right. If I ever think of something, I'll get back to you, but "One" is really nice.

Anyway, back to "One". :) I think my personal interpretation of "One (Reprise)" is colored by the story of Cassie which preceded the finale -- the way that Zach initially stymied her audition because he thought she was too good for the chorus line, and the way he kept (quite brutally) calling her out for for adding too many flourishes to her dancing, which caused her to stand out too much when the group was practicing "One" (non-reprise). After seeing Zach's frustration, I was left with the impression that he certainly felt that it'd be a dubious honor to cast Cassie in the show, because the chorus line is not an appropriate place for a ( ... )
