[ Of course Mummy has seen the video post and now he is at the door, knocking quietly. He has a cup of tea for her in one hand, and a small book under his arm - it was the only way to keep his hand free.

[Quickly she goes- but only after she's succesfully wiped away the last of her tears. As long as she doesn't start crying again, she'll be fine.

She opens the door and seems a bit surprised.]

[ It's leather bound with nothing on the front, but if the opens it to the first page there is a photo of each of the members of the "family" and space in the following pages for more photos and writing. It's obvious that it's intended to be a memory book of some kind. ]

[She catches it and winces ever so slightly as the guilt hits her. Admittedly, she... hadn't told anyone. It wouldn't have been right to burden them with the expected celebration.

A little surprised at the offer and she hesitates. Oh, how badly she wants it, how badly she would like a gift for this one birthday in this bubble... Certainly it wouldn't be too selfish of her to accept? Taking it with a grateful nod, she does open in and flips through it curiously.

Then it's clear to her then. This is a book to keep track of all things concerning these people so dear to her now- to remember her family.

Her bottom lip trembles a bit and she bows her head, closing the book and then bringing up a hand to her eyes as they water. This is too kind for her. She doesn't deserve it, but oh how badly she wants to be worthy.]
