Well... no winner, I suppose. I will take this as evidence that there are no aliens observing humanity at the moment. That is, unless the observing aliens are controlling the media, in which case this might be evidence that they exist... hmmm...
As a side anecdote, the Chairman's (precious) TiVo recorded a particularly relevant episode of "Gargoyles" last night. It was the one where set on Easter Island, where an alien mistook the Gargoyles for another alien species. The episode was a setup for a proposed sequel series Gargoyles 2198. I appreciate the concept of a futuristic sequel to a cartoon known for it's Star Trek voice actors.
Anyway, geekiness aside, I wasn't in love with this topic when I posted it, so I can understand if no one else was inspired. Hopefully, my next topic will be more interesting!
