I'm going to die alone...
May 25, 2008 16:35
So I was in Toys 'R Us today searching high and low for a Mk III Iron Man figurine - I can't find the damn things anywhere near me, hmph. Anyways, after about 20 minutes of searching, I found the next best thing...
(
Best £2.99 I've ever spent...

They're brilliant.
I actually squeed in the shop.
I think I might have freaked out the kids around me.

That's okay, I had joygasm of scary proportions when I found my Civil War shirt in the laundry and saw it had Iron Man on it front and centre.
...that I *have* a Civil War shirt is probably not a good sign in the first place.
That I am 28 and still single is not really surprising at this moment.

Awwww!
We geeks should band together.
Who needs love when we've got Iron Man items?

So true. I'm forcibly restraining myself from hitting the toy shop to see what they've got. Because I know I'll get one of everything. >.>

See, but there have to be 28 year old, single geek boys, too. They exist. It's only where that is the question.
Part of my reasoning for going to the San Diego Comic Con this year is to find my own geek boy. Mayhaps I should document this.

It's not the reason you're single. (My boyfriend offered to buy me one.)
