I have a question, and this seems like the best place to ask it. In several fics that I've read, Tony has a "neoprene suit" that he wears while he's in the suit. Is this just fanon or is it from the comics? I've read the novels, but don't remember this being mentioned. Of course, I could have missed it, I didn't realize I'd be writing Tony Stark

Well. The Extremis virus introduced tiny nanomachines into his system that re-wired the way his body works, which I thought it was kind of cool. I mean, he's telepathically linked to the internet now, because of it. So.
But, um, it also gave him super healing powers, since the nano machines just rebuild whatever cells are missing from an injury. But they also let him ... exude a weird metallic yellow suit that the Iron Man suit jumps/snaps to.
