IM2 Panel at Comic Con

So San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner and we all know about the panel taking place on Saturday from 4-5pm in Hall H. So I wanted to try to organize a camping party to wait in line. I also know that pensive_1 was wanting to get in on this as well

This is an excellent idea! All my friends are coordinating in San Diego via Twitter, but I'm the only one who cares more about the Iron Man 2 panel than anything else all weekend. :)

I'm not sure you'll need to be there that early considering the panels before it. The Lost panel lets out at 12, which should empty the room some. I'm planning to get there in the middle of the miramax panel (mostly because I want to prowl the exhibit hall for a while). Ballroom twenty would have me camped out all day, but I got in Hall H pretty easily for last years Pixar panel.

I'm rooming with Pensive so she'll have my cell phone #. ^_^

I know, but I'm just an uber obsessed fan and don't want to miss out. It doesn't hurt me to at least check it early.

And do you want me to have your number too in case I see the line forming early? Or will Pensive be checking as well?

Well the thing is there is always a line at Hall H. It's all about how fast the line is moving. *G*

Hall H is...odd to say the least. Getting a seat sometimes isn't the problem it's whether or not you want to be close enough to see the talent or just see them on the big screen.

And sorry if I'm completely assuming you haven't been to SDCC before. *face palms* I just realized I was doing that.

Yea, this will be my second year at SDCC. I know there will always be a line, I just to be one of the first for this panel's line. I want to sit as close as I can.

And what does it matter if you ship Tony/Steve? This is about Iron Man 2.

Well I think that Curls (Julie) and I will be sitting through all the panels that day before hand, so would you like to camp with us and move up with us? I think I could be fun. Awesome, I saved you in. We might not able to get in line outside the con buidling together, but at least this way when we're moving up in the panel room we can be sure to move up together.

Ok, so I just got my Saturday ticket tonight, so excited!!!! I do have to work until around 12:30 on Saturday but once I am there I would be more then willing to keep spots in line for anyone who wants to go see other things, get some food or hit up the bathrooms. How did you get a Saturday ticket? E-bay? Make sur eyou ask the seller how it works because tickets are non-transferable this year. So if it's in someone else's name, there could be a problem.

Thanks for the heads up, I actually didn't buy from an unknown source because I had heard that. On Twitter, Comic Con posted a link and each night at 7pm(tomorrow it starts at 2pm)they do an ebay auction for tickets. Not really an auction since you just pay face value. So the tickets actually come from Comic Con. You just have to be really quick at grabbing one once the auction is up and make sure you have Paypal. I was way to scared to buy them from someone off the 'street', lol.
