Oh no, I'm not so sure I like her as Black Widow. I'd really need to see it first.

Well. There go my geeky wishes for Carrie-Anne Moss. :-( But I knew it would never happen anyway.

Not especially familiar with Scarlett Johanssen. But remember how everybody thought RDJ would make a horrible Tony Stark but he turned out to be perfect? Yeah, that's what I hope will happen with this. That's what better happen with this.

I am not sure what I think about her being cast. Emily Blunt just had a look about her that was hard but pretty which seemed to fit the character. Scarlett Johanssen just doesn't have that look about her. I will try and reserve judgment until I get the official word she is in and if she is, I will wait until I see/hear her as the character.

Not happy about this at all, I've always found her to be a weak actress, and for a role like this, I don't think she has it in her. For this film, they need someone to be the equivalent Michelle Pheiffer's Catwoman to Michael Keaton's Batman. Sorry to say this, but Scarjo is no Michelle Pheiffer! I've never seen Scarjo put in a strong performance, and really don't think she will be able to pull this off, especially if she is supposed to have a Russian accent.

I really hate when comic book movies about which big name stars they can get, and not who is the best actor for the part. RDJ's acting is what made the first Iron Man good. His acting is what held the film together despite a number of flaws, and ridiculous fights between robots. I don't know if having two stars will give him a chance to let his acting save the film this time.
