Amazing Dream

Summery:Tony and Pepper make a quick stop to a construction sight at Stark Industries...till an accident challenges their emotions.
A/N:Ok this was based on a dream I had a few minutes ago after taking a nap.So when I woke up I was so amazed by the dream I just had to write a fanfic about it.This has nothing to do with my other fanfic just waiting for more comments on it.
Tony and Pepper were driving in Tony's Audi R8 on the highway towards Stark Industries.Pepper so mad at Tony for announcing that he was a superhero that she couldn't help but give attitude,and frankly it was bothering Tony.
"I"m just gonna make a quick stop to over the look the project."Tony said keeping his eyes on the road.
"Whatever."Pepper said keeping her eyes out the window.
Tony looked at her and frowned she was acting like a teenage girl,like the ones that have fights with their fathers about dating (not like this is what it's about).When they pulled up to the sight Tony stepped out of the care and headed towards the men working and stopped half way.He looked around and couldn't find Pepper,he turned towards the car and found Pepper sitting in the car making an angry face and looking straight a head as if she was driving.
"Are you coming or not?"
"Not."
"Pepper."
Pepper closed her eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm her self down,opened the door and followed Tony.
"Gentlemen,hows everything going?"
"Mr.Stark, everything is going fine but we seem to be having a problem."
Tony and the rest of the workers were talking about something and Pepper wasn't really paying attention,she was deep in thought,"Where are the rest of the workers?"She only saw five,and they were talk to Tony.She sighed and let the thought go and looked around.
"Pepper."Tony yelled.
Pepper turned to look at Tony.
"I'm gonna check on something,I'll be write back okay,stay here."
She nodded.
She watched them leave further into the sight,she sighed and turned around and was about to walk toward the car when a sudden sound rang in her ears,it sound like crashing of something very large.She turned around and felt her heart stop beating she saw apart of the sight collapse.For a moment she just stood the shocked,she couldn't breath,she couldn't think.She felt her eyes water with tears."Oh god,please,please don't tell me he's.....".She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a noise,she moved closer and saw a couple of blocks moving.She fell on her knees and crawled towards the movement,to her surprise the five construction workers emerged from the piles of stone that covered them,and she was relived to see Tony still alive.
"Oh my god Tony are you alright?"Pepper said running towards him.
He looked at her but didn't say anything.Once Pepper reached him she stopped,something didn't look right.She looked down at the arc reactor that was embed in Tony's chest and say something wrong with it (Tony was wearing a wife beater under his suit and took of the suit after the press conference),it looked dented,and it looked like it was about to come out.Tony looked at his arc reactor and started to scream in pain.
"OMG GOD TONY."
Pepper reached for her cell phone and tried to call for some help.She looked at Tony and started to panic.
"TONY,listen to me,you have to calm down just breath everything is going to be alright."Pepper said trying to calm him down.
She dialed Jim's number.
"Jim it's me Pepper I need your help..part of the sight collapsed on Tony,he's alive but he's in pain right no I don't know what to do."
"Ok calm down Pepper I'll be right there."
Pepper heard Tony scream even louder.She looked at him.His eyes were closed,five men were trying to calm him down.She looked at his chest again and saw blood spilling out.
"TONY,TONY,TONY!LOOK AT ME,LOOK AT ME TONY!
Tony opened his eyes and saw Pepper kneeling in front of him. And for a moment he saw complete and utter fear in her eyes.It felt like 3 months all over again for Tony,flash back of the attack on the fun-vee,the explosion and the painful like surgery that they made him go through while putting the electro magnet in his chest.
"Ok we have to move him now."Pepper said finishing the call she made to Jim.She looked around and saw a mattress (I don't know where it came from it was in my dream).
"Over there."
The workers carried Tony To the mattress and layed him down gently.
Everything that was going on was scaring Tony right down to the core.Tony looked around trying to find out where he was and if he saw anyone he could recognize.He looked beside him and felt a leap of relief.Pepper was there beside him as usual,he grab her hand and held it it tight and stared at her the entire time."Thank god I have you Pepper."He looked up,staring at the dark clouds hovering over them,He felt small drops of rain fall on his head and from a blink of an eye..it was pouring.Tony felt his body relax....he was going to die.That's all he could think of he's going to die.Tony closed his eye and felt the pain deepen down.He couldn't breath.
"TONY!TONY!DON'T YOU DARE CLOSE YOUR EYES!LOOK AT ME PLEASE!"Pepper yelled while still holding Tony's hand.
Tony shot his eye open and looked at Pepper.Pepper was crying.Tony leaned and pulled Pepper close to him till their foreheads touched.Pepper continued to cry.
"TONY DON'T YOU DARE DIE,YOU HEAR ME?IF YOU DIE I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!"
Pepper looked at the ground,she was sitting in a pool of Tony's blood.She looked at him again.
"Please,please don't die."
Both Pepper and Tony could hear the sirens ring and ar pulling up.
Tony took one last look at Pepper and kissed her.
