[And the sight of a young girl coming outside near where he's been walking reminds him why--there are kids here, damn it, and how can they be expected to care for themselves in these circumstances?]

[ She looks at him questioningly. Jade expected people to go for an "everyone for themselves" state of mind with this event. And then she waves her rifle. Not in his direction, obviously. ]

[Miguel's caught on to Jade's habits just like he caught onto Tulio's, so he knows where to find her. Considering she may be his only friend in this place now, he's not about to let her get attacked by some idiotic fiend, nor let her die because of some silly collar.

He arrives at the greenhouse, sabre in hand (but not spinning like that). His expression is a little more melancholy than usual, and by a little, I mean at all.

[Feferi's not looking all too bothered by the collar as much as she's bothered about this whole dying thing. When she sees Jade, she decides to team up with her]

[ She smiles at the chocolatier. He looks so silly running and trying not to drop his hat. ]

Hello Mr. Wonka. [ The rifle stays down. She trusts him enough to not be afraid that he might attack her. ]

I guess I am! Carrying around a gun makes people stay away from me, so it works.

[He offers up a smile...although it's somewhat forced due to the circumstances of their meeting.]

If I wasn't so keen on joining your little...survival party, I would have stayed away, too! [A nervous laugh.] So what have ya been up to?

[ Basically, a perfect distraction. ]

[He nods and tucks the dynamite into his shirt.]

Are you doing okay? [He means specifically during the event, but what it's hard enough to show concern without being specific, so that vague question is all you get.]
