First weekend of school and already I have a paper due on Wednesday and readings to catch up on. It's infuriating. And the only thing I want to do at the moment is loll around on the rug (it's clean now!) and do absolutely nothing of import. Maybe mope a little bit, or read my roommate's porn lit; anything but work.

I am beginning to hate my periods. The bloody inconvenience and occasional cramp I'm used to, and don't really mind, but oh the attendant symptoms! They have only grown more severe as I age.
( Let's not mention the cramps. )

I was never the type to keep up with technology. People around me upgrade their gadgets yearly, while I stick to hand-me-downs and the secondhand goods of yesteryear; the only reason I have an iPod is because my youngest brother had moved on to other things, and he got it for free in the first place.
