Nah, I still haven't got the Strider-to-English Dictionary put out yet. Makes life a struggle, but the publishers just won't see sense.

[Sitting in the park drawing as usual, humming softly under his breath, putting a green colored pencil down to switch for a red, all is well with the world. Lucas finishes aimlessly shading a flower (actually they were all dead by now but this was artistic license) and -- ]

[Glancing to the left and right is natural when missing something, so his pencils are recovered fairly quickly, though he's sure he'd put them on his left... Oh, well. The next time he puts a pencil down, he keeps watch on them out of the corner of his eye.]

[ That pencil will stay put for the next minute or so before making a similar flicker-and-reappear act on the opposite side again.

Careful observation might just show a larger shadow flickering along next to it. ]

[Lucas will squint a little as his pencils appear again on the other side. He couldn't quite catch it, but... He shakes his head as if to dismiss his own wild thoughts before switching pencils one last time.
