It might help to get out of the house. It's a pretty lonely thing to sit in ones apartment feeling sorry for ones-self, trust me, I know.
And to be fair, women aren't the only ones with issues. Everyone has issues. Even you.

While perhaps not the most tactful (though certainly far from the least) way to put it, sarah has a point ( ... )

Chris, I'm not sure what you were expecting from that post. If you want us to placate you with lies, you're looking in the wrong place. The fact is that if you don't leave your apartment and actively try to find something to do, nothing will happen.

just because i'm stoic most of the time doesn't mean i'm allowed to vent on occassion? jeez. thank, though, Rick, for at least saying something constructive. more than anything else this is just sparked off of my innate loathing of cowardace.

I'm sorry, but I believe I did say something constuctive. I said to get out of the house. I'm not sure what's so hard about that. Everyone who leaves college and goes into the real world has to do it. It's part of life. And you're certainly allowed to vent, that's what livejournals are for. I didn't say you had to stop complaining, I was just trying to help. If you would like suggestions for /how/ to get out of the house or where to go, I have some.
