What *I* don't know is why the pilot of that AS7 didn't just open up with the AC-20 he's got strapped to his hip. I mean, come on, the LRMs? That's just silly.

I think he did. There's some explosions that happen when the pilot goes around the building that I think are the AC-20 shots impacting.
