I LOVED Dunn's River Falls.

And if I had known you were going to climb the falls, I would've warned you about the market. There's two ways to exit the Falls area, and they're only gonna tell you about the way to HELLLLLL.

You can always put the carved thingies down and walk away, too - they simply char the spot where they carve your name and then re-carve. :P

(the more you know *star*)

Damn! I wish I'd had that info beforehand. :( Oh well. Dunn's River Falls was definitely awesome! We didn't buy the DVD (see aforementioned lack of funds), but we did get the pictures the guide took with my camera.

Yeah, we got a very good informative, down-to-earth lecture about the economic status of the island before we disembarked, and how to handle being a tourist there, so we were well-prepared.

Eh, all in all we only gave $8 to the guy for our carvings. I'm actually not too torn up about it - plus it's another story for our collection. Most of the money that day went to getting our hair braided and tipping the Falls guides, so it's not like they bilked us out of even 10's of dollars.

But still, that'll be good information if we ever go back.
