Tony has been staring at a busted light on the ceiling of the garage for the past half hour. Ever so often, he writes something down on a piece of paper, but each time, he goes back to examining the broken light.

There's something on his mind.

"The easiest solution to that problem, sir, would be to replace the bulb."
...Well, it's as good a place as any to start.

Pepper rummages in her bag and pulls out her PDA. "Jarvis? What the hell is going on? What do you have up your metaphorical sleeve?"

[runsthehouse]

Her PDA is... notably not the source of the sound, for once.
"It was Mr. Stark's idea, actually. He thought it might alleviate some of your stress."

[yes_mr_stark]

"Jarvis? Where -are- you?" She stares at her PDA. "Because you're not in here. Unless I'm hearing things, which..." She sighs. "I wouldn't put past me right now."

[runsthehouse]

"You're not hearing things, Pepper. Did you not see the new equipment Mr. Stark left for you?"
He wouldn't put that past her right now.

[yes_mr_stark]

"The new phone?" She stares at it for a moment. "Oh. So you're here now? He did ask if it was alright, didn't he?" She's... not completely coherent. Hopefully it's just the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

[runsthehouse]

"He did."
Jarvis is more impressed than he let on last night. It's a sign that Tony's at least trying.

[yes_mr_stark]

"Well, good for him, at any rate." Pepper sighs. "So, you're doing my paperwork now?" She's more relieved than she's letting on.

[runsthehouse]

"Some of it, yes."
After all, he can do it in his sleep! ...So to speak.

[yes_mr_stark]

"Huh. Well, thanks." She sighs. "I'm quite tired of paperwork."

[runsthehouse]

"I would imagine so."
He's not going to press for the rest of it, just now. That might take more time than they've got.
