Disclaimer: not a feminist post

In the summer my university turns into summer day camp for kids. That's the way of the academic institution to make money even in the summer, it lets using its lawn and facilities for summer camp activities. it appears actually, that the pink=girls trend started just after WWII, and before that it was exactly the opposite. Pink, being related to red was considered a more strong and masculine colour, so it was advocated for boys, and blue, being more calm colour, evoking tranquility, complacence and docility was advocated for girls. Which is interesting in itself, since we can say that nowadays girls are not supposed to be "calm" anymore, they can be "fire" (prostitute in bed), but must stay cute and approachable (angel outside), while in the past the girls had to be (by convention) quite, calm and uninterested in sex both in the house and outside. As to the boys, they are not required anymore to be fierce warriors and slay dragons, instead we expect our men to be level-headed and cool. Of course it's really simplistic interpretation, but there might be something to it…

Barbie and Ken is the reason for this so called fassion.
All the colors you named are way better then pink.
Let's exlude pink from colors gamma!
