No Turning Back
This was it. He'd already said hello, touched her hand, but she had to know.
In the dark, his hearts hammered and he was sure she could hear him. But she stood still. Alone.
'Just walk out,' he told himself. But he was afraid. He wasn't the man she'd been travelling with so many years ago. 'If that's so,' the niggling voice said, 'then why did her touch send shivers down your arm?'
He remembered experiments at UNIT, running through endless corridors and enjoying every thrill.
With an intake of air, he stepped forward.
“Hello Sarah Jane.”
