Although, Katie dying her blond hair dark brown threw me off a bit. Is an explanation to come in the next chapter?

Haha. It's a typo. I keep making the mistake of thinking that Katie's hair is brown.

I'm glad you enjoyed, though I don't know if there IS going to be more. This was a spur of the moment thing, and a break from writer's block. :)
