In my own mind, is all. *wry smile* I haven't been online much. Been reading periodically, but not taking the time to post or even reply most of the time...sorry.
The lioness's stuff is gorgeous, but I've inherited so much handmade jewelry from my late sister that I probably won't buy anything new in my lifetime.
While I have your attention: I think that my piece of "our" nopalxochia is finally coming back from the near-death experience of 2011. Maybe it will bloom next year!
Yeah, I shouldn't get any more because I have so much I never wear, but...
My nopalxochia are blooming better this year than they ever have; they seem to like their new location in the sunroom. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures before they wilted. Hope yours recovers well.
What we have is an enclosed porch. However, it has historic-ish windows and a tile floor installed after the fact and it faces south, so essentially it's a sunny-as-hell room. Too sunny for some plants, but I cannot complain.
The nopalxochia (I have to look that up every time I try to use it) are happier here than they ever have been. I hung them from the ceiling, where even on chilly days it's reasonably warm. The *bottom* of the pots is higher than I can reach, so keeping them watered has been an issue, but I guess I did okay. I am annoyed I didn't get a picture of them blooming.
Finding the right window is key to plant survival around here.
