Maybe he could take a second job. Or a third. I've worked 3 jobs for most of the time since we had our Bear, 4 for a while, and we're finally down to one each, but working on getting a company going. If he doesn't want you doing something outside, maybe the answer is for him to do so. That is, unless he already is.

Ah, there's the rub. He is working on getting a recording studio up and running, while simultaneously trying to get material together for a music publishing submission. Both of those things could be very lucrative, but simply aren't. Yet. I've been thinking of asking him to do something like a regular road job (tuning guitars or something), but somehow that just feels unfair. He busts his butt every day, just like me, and he feels the pressure, too.

Can you do anything yoga related? Maybe work in a studio's front office, get paid and get free classes?
