What about giving him time off from jumping for a month or two and giving him anti-inflamatories and icing his hocks? Also have you tried DSMO Cortizone (I think that's what it is?) Right now, the three different trainers I've been with in the last year all say pretty much the same- Get his hocks looked at, and in the meantime, there's things I need to work on to fix my position, and the best way to do that is to get on other horses who i KNOW will jump, even when my position is crap.
As for time off, I have a feeling that's what's going to happen. School starts on the 8th of September, and in the meantime I'm doing a lot of college visits, working odd jobs, and some community service type stuff, so riding definitely may take a back burner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that time off may help, as well as continuing to talk to my vet in terms of what to do with his hocks. We'll see :/
*squish* thanks lovey.
