Another Monday down...

Work is worky busy and if the little troll monitors don't mind their own business I am going to hurt them.  Seriously a girl has got to pee when a girl has got to pee.  It is not my fault the stupid idiots stuck me with 4 hours solid and no break! I refuse to wear a depends to work!

I bit the bullet and signed up for the ( Read more... )

I had to swap out the links on White Rose and Last Rose because I had the OWL links in there.

Has your brother been to the hospital or a doctor because of this? The swelling, especially as it's on his lower face, could be quite dangerous. It could spread to his tongue or airway and impede his breathing, and as it's getting worse each time, he could end up with anaphylaxis.

Get him to go to his doctor and tell him to keep insisting on investigation and treatment even if the GP trivialises it. It could be the beginnings of lupus too - I had a friend that had it happen just this way, and she ended up with a stroke from it attacking her blood vessels. It might look funny, but this sort of swelling is a danger sign - seriously. Take it from someone who has had anaphylactic reactions - they can come on fast, and can happen up to two weeks after exposure to whatever is causing the reaction and if the reaction is getting worse, all the more reason for him to get this sorted.

I have suggested he see his doctor and once he even went. They shrugged their shoulders gave him steroids and and antihistamines and sent him on his way.

I know it could be serious, but I cannot force him to listen to me and his wife is as blase as he is.

I agree with darklotus1211. Take it from someone who has had to go to the emergency room from an attack of hives that became a swollen lip and then finally swelling throat making it hard to breathe. Having a swollen mouth that may be an alleric reaction is no laughing matter.

Oh I do agree it is no laughing matter. One reason I posted it here. I have a lot of medical trained people on my f-list and am hoping to get ammunition to scare him into the Dr if nothing else.

Depends to work. I wonder if you could then write those off as tax deductions. And how fun it would be to include that in your tax paperwork...

I wonder what is up with your poor brother! Those are some swollen lips!

the thing is in my family we have natural full lips so if they get swollen it looks 10 times worse.

LOL wouldn't they love that tax deduction

Yay for you signing up for the exchange!!!!! You've got some awesome prompts, too. I'm so excited!

What are the little troll monitors doing now. I take it that you told them in the nicest way possible to piss off, didn't you? Of course you did.

Poor baby W. Tell him to go see a good ENT. Maybe an allergist, too. I have a friend who found out she is allergic to gluten because drinking beer make her mouth and throat swell up.

I keep thinking it is the Vodka... he would be hurting for certain then as that is his potion of choice.

They popped me up for being in personal for 4 minutes because I went to the restroom! I wonder who clocks them peeing?
