*Looks a tad smug & points at Moving Forward Series* Always said the Tardis was alive just different! Bit disappointed that they didn't use the same name as they had for her from the book - Verity.

Oh I have always believed the TARDIS to be alive (not to mention they have said it several times)... well, throughout it she kept asking what her name was because she wasn't sure... and they were sort of in a middle of an Adventure so it probably slipped the Doctor's mind. Maybe later, after Amy and Rory retreated to their bunk beds and he was finished bouncing around, he settled back down to tinker with her and told her what her name was.

I remember somebody did a Nine/human!TARDIS fic. It took place right after the Time War but before Nine met Rose. The TARDIS took on human form and met the Doctor in a pub or something and she comforted him. It was very adult and very well written. Of course, I can't remember the name of it, though.

Oh you are so not alone in loving this epidsode. I adored it and the end when the TARDIS said "I love you " just yanked my heart out of my chest wringed it with all tears I shed and threw in back into my chest.
