I wrote my first drabble last night.  Actually, it's the first non school related piece I've ever written and my first piece of fiction since 6th grade.  It took me far longer than I'd care to admit, but the picture of Erica walking in on Callie and Az struck me, and I felt like I had to at least give it a shot.  I love Callie, so I'm not really ( Read more... )

Dude, for a first attempt this is really good. Hell, first attempt aside this is really good. I don't know the fandom but it is. Keep writing and find fandoms that I'm in so I can properly drool. :P

I love corrupting people.

Well, many thanks for corrupting me :) It's Grey's Anatomy, which is the only fandom that, at this point, I'm anything nearing comfortable with. As for continuing to write, eh, I'll have to be very inspired by something. I'd rather let you writers actually do the writing, and I'll just enjoy reading it. But, you never know.

Thanks again, it means a lot to hear from you :)

ok, so i'm really glad i stumbled across this! Pinning Erica's voice is not an easy thing to do, but i feel like you've captured it here in this little bundle of callica. Erica will always hold herself to this impossible standard and i love how she thinks she should have known better.

Her calm voice once again chipped away at the walls I had struggled to rebuild after walking away three weeks ago..

thanks :) Lauren.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for letting me know that you stumbled across it and that you thought that I was able to capture some of Erica with it.

What a little treat for me to find, when I finally checked out your journal.

I thought it was very true to form that Erica would have resisted Callie's calls begging forgiveness through tears. I can see her being leery of the sincerity of those messages.

And just heart-breaking that Callie reeled her back in, only for Erica to be slapped in the face yet again. But, I'm glad this is the last time.

A tasty little nugget. Thanks for posting.

I'm sitting here in a bit of shock and don't even know how to respond... I think you "know" Erica better than anyone, so to hear that you think this was in-line how Erica would have reacted is the greatest compliment.

I don't think Erica could have dealt with an emotional Callie, but once Callie was ready to communicate and deal with things rather than just react, I think Erica would have been willing to give her one more shot, but this was without question the last straw. And we all know that Erica's doing just fine now :)

Thanks again!

Well, now you know I've been nosying around your journal. And honestly, I'm only seeing this now? You kept it so quiet *tut tut*

It's such a great little piece. I'm so glad that Erica knew to walk away for good this time, sometimes second chances aren't meant to be. Great representation of her.

You going to do more now? Yes? I thought I heard a yes...:D

Well, aren't we all growing our own little curious plants? ;) I'm glad you found and enjoyed this, and let me know that you did. Even if Callie did have good intentions when she went to meet up with Erica and Arizona just suprised her, I think it was best for Erica to just write her off for good.

As for more? I'm not saying never, but I think it's better to let the writers write while I enjoy and try my best to be a contributing member of the community. But I've seen from a certain Miss H4H that you've got something in the works?? I can provide anything from gentle nudges to full on ass kicks if necessary :) Thanks again!

Aw jeez, I dunno about that! Lol,I'm pretty sure my litle story type thing won't see the light of day anytime soon. I haven't got the nerve.

Like you say, best leave that stuff to the actual writers ;)

I understand completely. Why do you think this was so hidden :) But if you're ever feeling brave and just need that extra push, the offer stands.
