Dropped my youngest at camp yesterday, and he had his sister's tennis racket, cause we haven't gotten him one yet. It has a bright pink handle. Some 5 or 6 year old girl (who had pink EVERYTHING with EVERYTHING embroidered) looked at him, and said, "I thought you were a boy!" He says, confused, "I am a boy." His older brother was a few years back, by a friend, when he grabbed a pink bowl for snacks. Similar reaction, "It's just a colour," and that was the end of it. Lucky for them.

Yeah, I've found that's not the best reaction at a country club when I dress like I do. Oh, but what goes on in my head... :)

Eh, her mother probably just warned her against the 'riff-raff' allowed in the club these days. I just wish his ma had been there, she would have out sparkled that woman on a cloudy day and high-fived him for what he said :)

He turned 5 end of March.
