Butterflies and Blooms

I’ve been working at the butterfly house a lot this month. So, I took some pictures. Enjoy!

Oh, and keep in mind that as much as I’ve been reading up on these little critters, I’m no expert and pretty terrible at identifying them. So if you spot a mistake in my captions, let me know...

Thank you! The butterflies are beautiful. I wish I could get a decent one of a fritillary! They are so striking... I'll try to take more tomorrow!

I love the polyphemus moth!

They're really furry and remind me of spiders sometimes. We take them out of their eclosion boxes when they emerge to put them on exhibit, and it feels really weird to have one clinging to my finger...
