She's going to be okay!

Well, at least they said she'll probably be okay. She hasn't woken up yet, but they were able to counteract most of the potion and they're putting her in a bed in one of the wards. They said she'll probably wake up sometime in the next 24 hours, so now it's just a matter of waiting until we can talk to her.and find out what ( Read more... )

Thank the gods for that. I'll pop in after work unless she's inundated with visitors - I should imagine that there'll be some she'd sooner see than others.

I'm sure she'd like that, Gil. She still hadn't woken up, last time I checked, but they say it could happen any time now. I'll try to keep everyone posted if there's any news.

OK, well if I get there for about 6 and she still isn't awake I'll just sit for a bit. You can nip off and grab something to eat and if she stirs I promise I'll shout you on your journal, OK?

Thanks, Gil. That sounds good. I thought for sure she'd be awake by now. I suppose all we can do is wait.

Thanks for letting us know, Seamus. I'll be down as soon as I can get someone to watch the kids when they get home from school. Anything I can do to help?

I'm afraid there's not much any of us can do, Harry. I was there for a while this morning, but they said there's no telling when she'll wake up so I finally came back here to the pub to check on things. I'm going to go back in a little while though.

Maybe we should start taking turns with her so that somebody's there when she wakes up?

That's a great idea, Seamus. I'm on my way. Madame Thilkwhistle recruited the Hogwarts ghosts to look after the kids--who all see it as a jolly sort of holiday--so all we need is one adult at the House in case of emergencies. Severus has organized the professors to take turns between their classes and in the evenings.

You're a good friend to her, Seamus. She'll be okay.

Thanks, Harry. I'm just really worried now. It's been so long! And they say they don't know why she's not waking up. Everybody's been so great, but what if something's really wrong? I'm just going to keep hoping. I'll see you after while.

Seamus, that's such a relief! We'll surely come over there. That way you can rest too and she'll have someone there in case she wakes up.

Thanks, Colin. I think that would be good. The longer it takes, the more worried I get.
