"Set the fire to the third bar" is such a Seifer/Quistis song! And so is 9 crimes! Just wondering, but is the title of "Fallen Empires" from Snow Patrol song of the same name that came with the "Called Out in the Dark" single? (which incidentally I also put on my Seifer/Quistis playlist on the post below yours, actually!)

I think Snow Patrol songs fit the pairing so well. They have that kind of angsty, yearning, impassioned quality that I think characterises the pairing quite well.

Yeah, I titled a S/Q fic I'm working on after the album, haha. (I AM A LAZY SLACKER WITH TITLES.)

And I agree! Snow Patrol is one of my favorite bands for FF8 mixes in general, especially Seifer/Quistis.

Brilliant, as always. I love this fanart, and your song choices are spot-on, as always. I've loved 9 Crimes for some time now... I used it on a list I made for a friend, but it's on one of my personal sxq mixes as well, it really does just work so well.

And yeah, I'm basically on board with how amazing Snow Patrol is in general for this fandom. Basically every single song they have fits at least one pairing, character, circumstance, etc...

So really, keep making fanmixes forever. ♥
