My life - beware

Sep 10, 2006 19:31

Okay, today was pretty bad. I got stuck at home all day with the dog (who had to poop about 90% of the time because it was raining, and we couldn't go for a walk.) My hand got a pretty nasty cut the other day because I scraped it agains the couch (don't ask ( Read more... )

I just wanted to comment so you don't feel ignored. I'm not good with advice, but I can empathize. I know that being depressed is kind of a vicious cycle. It's hard to believe that things will get better because you don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Just remember that they always do, even if it's not right away.

Have you not lived in Ohio before? It must be doubly hard if you're at a new school.

Thanks for your comment. I feel better now, actually, as you can tell from my Snakes on a LJ post. I evacuated to Ohio, and, no offense to those wonderful Ohioans whom I'm sure exist, but I hated it. My friend Lauren and her family lives in Ohio, and my parents live seperately, so they wanted me to stay with Lauren and her family. Thanks again.

"I got walk around with a black eye" should actually read "I could walk around with a black eye"... But, I'm an idiot, so it didn't.

I wish I could say something comforting. It's been a long time since I was seventeen. But I can say this -- it's not forever. Things that are hard seem like they'll last forever, but they don't. Time will pass and things will change. Give yourself a break about feeling bad. And give yourself time to heal.

*hugs*

That was very comforting. Now I must help my mother find her glasses. Thank you.
