Yay, some jd^2! Man, I've missed them :D I like this little character piece, a study of JackDav through Johnny's eyes. I agree with the conclusions, he seems so unappreciated, yet is Gore's "American Express" (if I remember this part of the DVD commentary correctly...). 'Twas great!

But remember Verbinski saying "You just don't wanna do a movie without [Jack Davenport]. He can do anything and he's always just got it going."? I thought it corresponds very well with your Jack and that's why I liked this a lot (that and good authors writing Jack/Johnny make my brain melt :D) And dude, I'm converted ever since lotr_porn and I was/am completely obsessed with it because... because... because I have no words for how beautiful their stories are and am trying to find another fandom so I can ignore how depressed I am that activity in the community came to a standstill about a year ago right when everything was going crescendo (I am so pathetic), and that's why it's killing me to read Jack/Johnny at the moment and if you have no clue what the fuck I'm talking about, but are interested, no worries I'll fix you right up, let me know and yeah. *runs off to the sequels*

Kettle Abuse! It's a very serious crime in England.

A PA ruins Jack’s kettle. Shit! Shit! Shit! she yells, running out of the kitchen. Smoke follows her, perfectly black.

Jack walks into the kitchen, his face stern. The kettle is blackened, empty, abandoned with the eye on. He turns it off, then attempts to pry the kettle off of the eye. It sticks good, and Jack bursts into peals of laughter.

That was bloody brilliant!
