Track and Field Day this morning. This translates to 50 something 4th graders all running around a park like a pack of chimpanzees from event to event. At the end of the day, my partner teacher and I both had sunburns and sore throats from all the corralling that we had to do. I found it incredibly frustrating that we had to watch that many kids. I've logged more couch time today than I have all week. Around 5:30, I finally got up, took a shower and headed down to Changing Hands. I enjoy going to the bookstore alone.
