All the Gold medals at the World Figure Skating Championships were basically foregone conclusions (Patrick Chan could have pratfalled and still run away with the title - oh, wait, he did!), but it nonetheless felt like a surprisingly fraught competition

I was doing laundry for the cat shelter at which I volunteer on Friday, at a ghetto laundromat in West Adams, and for some reason the tv was turned to Worlds, so me and this dude who kept trying to sell me bootleg copies of The Lorax watched Adam Rippon together.
