Another side note: it's never okay to wear the t-shirt of the band you're seeing. IT'S NEVER OKAY.

I KNOW RIGHT? Lol we're clearly showing our age. I can't quite pinpoint the tipping point but I think maybe sometime around 2003? 2004? kids started doing that in earnest. I am still not over the wrongness of it. :P

I don't know why I didn't go but it's nice to read this and I have to agree with this: what a musically accomplished band latter day Brand New is.

Aaaaah, I'm so jealous that you got to see them. But thankful for the write-up. I can only hope they'll someday pop by nearby (which they won't).

A few months ago I went to see Brand New at the House of Blues in Vegas, which was my first concert ever. They were amazing, and part of what made the experience so memorable for me was the energy of all the fans packed into the room screaming along.
