Draco regained consciousness to find himself sprawled on the same bed he’d conjured earlier, naked and covered only by Severus’ robe.  He blinked and, upon recalling the recent events, sat up in a rush of fabric, tousled hair and a wild, silent cry of ‘Severus!’

‘Here,’ Severus responded and was hurrying back to his side as soon as he’d felt

oh boy, sounds like things are really coming to a head now. I hope that someone is able to realize what is happening in time to prevent too much damage from the fires, and that Harry arrives in time to help severus and draco!

Yeah, this is the truly tricky bit of the story where all the threads have to be gathered and neatly tied off. I like it but it gives me sleepless nights too.

I keep having nightmares about typing The End and then realising that there are poor, forgotten characters that were placed in a wee scenario and then abandoned.
