haha. there was an article recently in salon that in recessions, we revert to stereotypes and sexist paradigms because we find it more comforting. the writer cited incorrect readings of feminism as one example. and then there was an interview with gloria steinem where the interviewer asked steinem to prove that the sexes weren't inequal.
i think steinem shot her or something.

yay vagina guns! Umm... today I had this review session for my patient interviewing abilities (where I had to watch a video of me... how embarrassing... I was totally checking myself out though, like, oh, that part looks sexy but damn my thighs look big! hehe), and the guy who is the HEAD who is supposed to coach us on how to be a better, more compassionate doctor not ONLY made a sexist comment (about how the ladies are warm and fuzzy and caring) but also a sterotypical comment (about how, you know, those Brits sure are cold and don't open up). Yeah. The sexist stereotyper thinks I'm compassionate enough to be a good doctor. toot.
