And, this is a bit presumptuous of me since I just found your LJ today, but if you ever do an icon tutorial on some of the techniques you use to get your backgrounds (textures, brushes?), I'd love to know. I'm a very, very new icon maker, and I really do like your style. (And if begging would help to inspire you to do one, I'd be happy to do that to :)

I have done 2 tutorials for my old style, but as of yet I hav enot written any for my latest style. The computers on-campus don't have Photoshop (and they won't let me install it, either), so as soon as a get my laptop fixed I'll see what I can do for you!
