Got a 98 on my Intro to Business exam from last week. I was approached by my instructor in the hall after my Accounting class--he told me I had the highest grade on the test. ::tap dances::

Thing is, it wasn't that hard. Seriously. This particular instructor tells you EXACTLY what is going to be on the test and doesn't test on anything that wasn ( Read more... )

You have a serious advantage... esotericalil October 14 2008, 20:45:20 UTC
a few years older makes a HUGE difference in willingness to apply oneself. And you have been in the working world for almost a decade, with extra points for handling the business aspects of your band and knowing much of what goes on with Esoterica and other businesses of your friends. This is why a lot of universities give credits for life experiences - just living sucessfully teaches one a great many things. PLUS you have a high level of motivation since you KNOW where you want to apply what you are learning - again something many of the other students won't begin to see for a number of years. This is why a lot of countries have the youth spend a couple of years in the military before heading off to university - it tends to make them more ready for the learning process both emotionally and mentally. Taking a couple of years off before heading off to school really is a good idea for many many kids.

I think it was definitely the best bet for me. It's nice to be a straight A student. I haven't been that since I was about 7 ;)

Is red your natural hair color?

No, it isn't. My natural hair color is dark blond. It has some red in it courtesy of my grandmother, but it's nowhere close to the vibrant shades I prefer these days. Although I got her coloring, I didn't get my granny's copper-red hair...

I've always thought so ;) My natural-redhead friends say that I have the personality of a redhead, so I'm allowed to dye my hair their coveted color. lol

I want to know what ever happened with the acrylics class you were taking? Saw that one cobalt painting of Kwan-Yin and then *poof* never heard anything else about it. :)

Unfortunately, the first ~four~ classes coincided with weird conflicts, so I ended up dropping the course. I'm hoping to take it back up again in the future, but for now I don't have enough time...
