I love that so many of my flist were at Shore Leave together, and yet you are all from different parts of my life. A lot of my local "Harry Potter" friends were there to ooh and ahh over David & Kate Hewlett, you were there for totally non-media-fandom related reasons, and another friend was there for a different fandom entirely. I love my geeky friends. :)

I think that's what's so neat about the Con--it draws this really wild array of people. Seeing the hard-core Klingons wandering past Storm Troopers and Harry Potter characters is so surreal...lol

It was really fun :D He seemed nice. Hung out in the bar later that night and was very social overall. Some of the guests tend to avoid the communal areas of the hotel, but he seemed quite at ease...

Last year we couldn't *drag* Aaron Douglas out of the bar. He was amazingly at ease, especially with the ladies he was flirting with... ;)
