Simply lovely! You've captured Gabrielle's voice and her view of the world. I love how Grandpere asks Hermione to stay in English. You've done an excellent job.

Thank you! Gabrielle was quite insistent about her story being told in her own way, and would not allow any other POV. Hee. I had meant this story to end in a few different places and was a bit wibbly about how it turned out, so I'm happy this one worked. *g*
