I knew from the first four words this was going to be amazing.
I loved that Hermione was good at Potions but not cooking, whereas Neville, who ruined all those cauldrons, turned out to be a good cook! I believe he would be, too, as a way of nurturing the people he loved.
My absolute favorite part of this, though, was that he was afraid to hold the baby. I often forget about the clumsy aspect of Neville’s character, but that was such a brilliant observation of something he would worry about.
I can’t believe this was written for me! It's so beautiful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yeah, I don't see Hermione in the kitchen. Hee. And I have a bunch of nieces, so I'm used to being around babies, but you can always tell when someone is afraid, then they tense up and Baby starts to cry and it's not good. I can imagine that happening to Neville, and I'm sure he'd be devestated. But Hermione will show him how to hold her. And all will be well.
You've very welcome. It was fun to write. Feel free to toss more prompts out at any time. It appears I don't write without some form of stimulation.
