1. Take your picture and crop it. Dont worry if the picture size is smaller than the icon size, we will cut the background later.
2. In my case the picture is very dark so I duplicated the layer and set it to screen.
3. Now merge the layers and cut the background using the polygonal lasso tool. This can take you some time, it depends on the picture.
4. Set
this texture at the back.
5. Put some text at the top of the picture. I used Segoe UI font and a white color.
6. Create a new selective color layer:
reds: -72 -13 +56 0
yellows: -53 +17 +33 0
neutrals: -16 -6 +7 0
7. Create another selective color layer:
reds: -34 +17 +14 0
magentas: -57 -19 0 0
neutrals: +4 -23 +6 +9
8. New huge/saturation layer:
all: 0 +8 0
reds: 0 -3 0
9. New color balance layer:
Midtones: +19 -1 -19
Highlights: +6 +12 -14
Shadows: +21 +2 +32
1o. A new channel mixer layer:
red: +108 -6 +12
blue: +4 +8 +84
11. Crate a new layer and fill it with #E5E5E5, set to colorburn 48% opacity.
