That's a really lovely and apt description.

I like how you really explored how dark Ben could get. How he cold whirl himself off into a downward spiral inside his own mind. I could definitely see him having that tendency. Good thing Leslie is there to pull him out of it!

The three comparisons of the three moments of falling really ties the story together in an interesting way. I love the descriptions in this. Great job.
