AHH that justice remix is so fantastic. the first time i heaard it i didnt stop listening to it for days.
they are amazing.

A lady claiming to be your mother stopped by the café last night while Ryan and I were there, asking for you. I said I saw you earlier but didn't think you were here anymore. She went downstairs and I didn't see her again.

She claimed to be probably because she was, and I hope she didn't bother you too much. I've managed to go weeks without seeing her, and I hope to keep that streak going.

I'd love to add you to my f-list. I've enjoyed your comments over in hipsterbookclub and I noticed we have some mutual friends. I've got a lot of family dysfunction, but you seem to have me beat.

I'm also deathly curious about the snotty icon remark someone made in HBC, but I have no idea where that image is from. Your response was perfectly Miss Manners-like.

I'm very flattered! Add as thou wilt, but I make no promises on being entertaining-- at least not until classes begin at the month's end. And I don't claim to have beat anyone at family dysfunction. Like Tolstoy said, every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.

As for the icon, it's from Sam Brown's web site explodingdog.com. Readers e-mail him bits of text, which he illustrates rather abstractly and with crude but charming line art.
