My son is working to earn his way to the Centennial National Scout Jamboree in 2010, and they have already started fund raising. He asked me to share this with my online friends, so here you go ( Read more... )

(in all seriousness, wish we could contribute, just not now. If this is ongoing until the jamboree, maybe post this again as a reminder and we'll see if we can do something then!)

I know.. I think popcorn is pretty lame, but it's the only online option currently. We have several other (more useful) options also. He has a lot of fundraising to do between now and 2010. Yes, this online fundraising is live through 2010.

I totally understand if you aren't able to help - just had to ask because whatever he can't raise comes out of my pocket and I have to pay to attend myself.

yeah, I'm sure it can get very pricey very fast! I can't speak for everyone on your friends list, but I wouldn't mind a monthly reminder, though maybe some would tolerate only quarterly panhandling? ;)
