whyy on earth did the school administration have a "keep your mouth shut for gay pride" day? it makes you wonder if they did it on purpose. are they really such homophobes that they want everyone to just keep quiet about it? they should've done "voice your opinions" or "post banners" which would've caused a lot of controversey, in which case they ( Read more... )

Actually it did (for me, at least). Since I didn't talk, I had to give my reason to the kids around me. They read the flier I had and most of them said "whatever", but I'd like to believe that they actually gave the subject of gay persecution a second thought. I'm sure most of them looked at it and called me a fag in their minds, but at least I tried.

I guess really there are many ways to protest, and some can be more beneficial than others.

still, your flier was a way of giving out the message. i meant the people who didn't say anything in any way at all, i really don't think it could have helped them.
