So did you and R have a joint eye doctor appointment? How cute.

Most J, R, & S conversations are based on real conversations -- though generally somewhat fictionalized for effect, timing, etc.

As for joint appointments, it is the best way to make sure we both get to the dentist and opthamologist regularly. One of us is bound to remember.

By which I mean I put it on my Y!Calendar and tell it to page me two days before and half and hour before.

So, having gone to military schools most of my childhood, I had reasonably thorough and regular testing of things like vision, color vision, spinal curvature, etc. It didn't occur to me that some (or even am aweful lot) of you would not be familiar with this standard color vision test.
